Goal
To create an engaging 1-hour television program in a style that captures the landscape and rich tradition of Swiss Folk Music. The program should serve as a pilot for an ongoing series of music and culture related programming to feature a diverse selection of indigenous music worldwide.


Result
Director Cina Canada enlisted us to spend three weeks on location in Switzerland, and tasked us with the job of creating a dynamic visual journey through the rich tapestry of Swiss folk music culture. The production covered various situations, from live-events to outdoor mountain tops. Our approach was to lend elements of picturesque beauty and eye-catching cinematography to Cina's engaging story. Our visuals help underscore the vast landscapes and intimate villages where Swiss folk music calls home.

What happens when a classically-trained violinist takes on the challenging tunings and rhythms of Southern India? Join Greg Walker as he explores the sights and sounds of the traditional Carnatic style of music, indigenous to the fascinating region of Kerala. Following three weeks of production on location in India, this film is currently in the final editing stages set to be released in winter 2012.

A military interrogator returns from Iraq with acute PTSD, and seeks advice from a psychologist to help him cope with the horrible things he did to an Iraqi girl he was assigned to question. This film highlights the controversial practice of waterboarding – the simulated drowning method approved by George Bush as a form of 'questioning' detainees. Chuck Fryberger Films was brought on to head up the audio department during production, supervising all sound recording activities for the film. This psychological thriller is currently in international distribution.

This project involved taking a popular children's story and integrating music, voice-over, and sound effects to create an immersive experience for young viewers. We created both an English and Arabic version of the soundtrack for international distribution. The resulting DVD was included free of charge inside the book.
