About
The Elizabethfontaine Primary School is located in the heart of Rocklands, South Africa. During our frequent visits to the area to film and climb, we have had the chance to contribute in several different ways to this worthy school.


The Contribution
Our work with the school is on-going. We strive each year to raise money and enact a positive change at the school, from making the dorms safer and more comfortable (our 2008 donation) to the construction of an operational agriculture education center (2010's initiative). We will continue to support this school as other needs arise in the future, and enjoy giving back to this area which has given so much to us.

About
Wine for Wells is a California-based non-profit with the goal of providing clean drinking water to those in need. Their work is primarily in the developing world, in countries such as Ethiopia.


The Contribution
In 2009, we contributed a month of production time and found private donors to cover our travel expenses, in order to produce a short documentary about the vision of the organization and to highlight upcoming projects in Ethiopia. We visited some of the poorest parts of Ethiopia during production, and upon return edited the video and prepared a DVD master including print artwork and packaging. At the first showing of the film, over $25,000 was raised, more than enough to pay for new wells in each community featured in the film.

About
The dZi Foundation brings infrastructure and community development to some of the most remote Himalayan regions of India and Nepal. Their work encompasses many aspects of community improvement, from schools to wells to clinics, and much more.


The Contribution
We worked with our friends at Faction Media and our colleague Rob Raker to edit a series of videos for the organization. Following a long filming trip to Nepal, where Rob filmed some of the current and future dZi project sites, we created a fully-functional DVD which the organization is currently using to present their goals to potential supporters.
