Precision focusing and exposure controls, combined with an incredible 18 stops of dynamic range make this the ultimate tool for filmmakers on a budget.

This is the latest edition in a long line of Panasonic cameras that are compact, light weight, and able to capture top quality moving images at a variety of frame rates and recording formats. The camera has excellent tools for precise focus and exposure control, and records with a AVC codec that yields very good looking pictures with a very reasonable file size. Interchangeable lenses give you control over the look of the image, and professional XLR audio inputs allow you to use high quality microphones. This camera is great in the dark, and anyone familiar with the older HVX series of cameras will adapt very easily to this extraordinary camera.
